Terms
These terms cover buying and using the Sparky Papers practice books. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights.
Who we are
Sparky Papers is the trading name of Dan Stevens, a sole trader in England. Email: [email protected]
What you are buying
Sparky Papers sells practice books as digital PDF files. Nothing is posted. Each product page shows the contents, the number of pages and sample pages from the PDF.
Buying and payment
Buying opens shortly. When it does, purchases are processed by Payhip, which takes the payment and delivers the download. Payhip asks for your email address so it can send you the file. Payhip’s own privacy policy explains how it handles your details.
Your right to cancel
For digital content such as a PDF download, the right to cancel an online purchase ends once the download has started, provided that before it started you gave your express consent to it starting within the cancellation period and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel (Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, regulation 37).
If you did not give that consent and acknowledgement, you can still cancel within the cancellation period, and you do not pay for content supplied before you cancel (regulation 37(4)).
If a PDF is faulty
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described (sections 34 to 36). If a PDF is not, you are entitled to a repair or a replacement (section 43). If that is impossible, or is not done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to a price reduction, which can be up to the full price (section 44).
To report a fault, email [email protected] with the book and the page or question number.

The books are educational practice material. All figures in the books are supplied for practice. No figure may be used for design, installation, inspection, testing or certification. Always use the current edition of BS 7671 and the manufacturer’s data.
