Sparky Papers publishes practice books for UK electricians and apprentices: calculation workbooks with a full worked answer for every question, and practice papers with an explanation for every answer.
How the books are made
- Every question is original.
- Calculation questions give all the data they need, so you practise the method rather than looking up tables. Most figures are practice data; where typical published values are used, the book says so.
- In the calculation workbooks every numerical answer was calculated by computer and checked by a second, independent calculation.
- In the BS 7671 A4:2026 Practice Papers every answer has a where-to-look reference to BS 7671 and the published source it was checked against.
- The books do not reproduce BS 7671 text or tables. For the practice papers you need your own copy of BS 7671:2018+A4:2026.

Independent publication. Not produced, endorsed or approved by City & Guilds, EAL, the IET or BSI. Not a past paper and contains no assessment questions.
